Buy OSRS Magic potion(4)

Description

The Magic potion(4) is a 4-dose potion in Old School RuneScape. Each dose raises your Magic level by 4 for a short time. This boost lets you cast spells that need a higher Magic level than you have. The boost does not let you equip armour or weapons with Magic requirements above your real level.

This potion is a members-only item with item ID 3040. It has a buy limit of 2,000 and a high daily trade volume, so it is a common item for mages. Its High Alchemy value is 180 and its Low Alchemy value is 120.

Players with 76 Herblore can make this potion by mixing lantadyme and potato cactus in a vial of water. This gives 172.5 Herblore experience. After finishing Barbarian Herblore Training, players with 83 Herblore can add caviar to a 2-dose magic potion. This makes a magic mix, which heals 6 Hitpoints per dose along with the Magic boost.

The potion used to be blue. It was changed to peach after a poll where 85.8% of players voted for the new colour.
