Description

The Maple longbow is a sturdy ranged weapon in Old School RuneScape. It is made from maple wood and needs level 30 Ranged to wield. It gives a +29 Ranged attack bonus and can fire arrows up to adamant. This makes it a solid pick for mid-level rangers who want a simple and reliable bow.

The bow has three combat styles. Accurate gives a small Ranged experience boost. Rapid fires faster with no boost. Longrange gives a small Defence experience boost. All three styles reach targets up to 10 tiles away. The longbow has the same Ranged bonus as the maple shortbow, but it shoots slower and has more range.

Players with level 55 Fletching can make this bow by stringing a maple longbow (u) with a bow string. Stringing gives 58.2 Fletching experience. Making the bow from a maple log gives 116.5 experience in total. The bow can also be a reward from the Observatory Quest.

The Maple longbow is available to free-to-play players. It is tradeable, so any player who meets the Ranged level can use it right away.
