Players can also bake pitta bread themselves. It takes level 58 Cooking. First, mix a pot of flour with a jug or bucket of water to make pitta dough. Then bake the dough on a cooking range for 40 Cooking experience. The bake is fast and takes only one game tick. Since level 58 is needed to cook it, the bread never burns in practice.
