Description
The pointed myre snelm is a helmet in Old School RuneScape. It is a swamp colored snail shell that you wear on your head. It is a members item, and anyone can wear it because it has no requirements to equip.
This snelm reduces the damage you take from snails by 4. That makes it a good pick if you do not have access to Protect from Missiles, since the damage reduction is significant. Its stats are close to a steel med helm.
The helmet gives defence bonuses of +7 stab, +8 slash, +6 crush, and +7 ranged. It has -1 magic defence. For attack, it gives -3 magic and -1 ranged. It weighs 2 kg, is tradeable, and is not stackable.
Players can also make this helmet with level 15 Crafting. Using a chisel on a pointed blamish myre shell creates the snelm and gives 32.5 Crafting experience. It needs no facilities and takes only 1.2 seconds to make.
The item came out on 14 October 2004. It was called the Myre snelm until 6 November 2024, when it was renamed the pointed myre snelm.
