The poison ivy seed is a bush seed in Old School RuneScape. You need level 70 Farming to plant it in a bush patch. It grows in 2 hours and 40 minutes and gives poison ivy berries.

Poison ivy bushes never get diseased. Most animals will not eat them because the plant is so hardy. That means you do not need to pay a farmer to watch it, and compost does nothing for it. This makes it a safe and easy crop to grow.

Planting a seed gives 120 Farming experience. Checking the health of the bush gives 675 experience. Each berry you pick gives 45 experience. A bush gives at least 4 berries, and higher Farming levels can boost your yield. Once picked, the bush regrows berries over time.

Poison ivy berries are useful in Herblore for making weapon poison(++). You can also pay a gardener 8 berries to protect a growing calquat tree. Harvesting berries from the patch near the Ardougne Monastery is a task in the hard Ardougne Diary. You can plant the seed at the Champions' Guild, Rimmington, Etceteria, or south of East Ardougne.
