Description

The Ranging potion(3) is a 3-dose potion in Old School RuneScape. Each dose gives a temporary boost to your Ranged level. The boost is 4 plus 10% of your current Ranged level, rounded down. At level 99 Ranged, that is a +13 boost. The boost drops by 1 level every 60 seconds, or every 90 seconds with the Preserve prayer on.

This potion helps ranged players hit harder in fights, bosses, and slayer tasks. A higher Ranged level means better accuracy and damage while the boost lasts.

Players with level 74 Herblore can add crystal dust to make a divine ranging potion. It takes 1 dust per dose. After Barbarian Herblore Training, players with level 80 Herblore can add caviar to a 2-dose potion to make a ranging mix. The mix gives the same boost and also heals 6 Hitpoints.

The Ranging potion(3) is made by using a wine of Zamorak on a dwarf weed potion (unf) at level 72 Herblore. It is a members-only item. It is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs only 0.02 kg, so it is easy to carry and store.
