Description

The Ranging potion(4) is a members-only potion in Old School RuneScape. It has four doses. Each dose gives a temporary boost to your Ranged level. The boost is 4 plus 10% of your current Ranged level, rounded down. At levels 1 to 9 the boost is +4. It grows by 1 for every 10 levels. At levels 90 to 99 the boost reaches +13.

The boost fades over time. You lose 1 level every 60 seconds. With the Preserve prayer, it lasts longer, fading 1 level every 90 seconds. A higher Ranged level helps you hit harder and more often with bows, crossbows, and other ranged weapons. This makes the potion useful for bosses, slayer tasks, and player versus player fights.

Players with 72 Herblore can make this potion by mixing a wine of Zamorak with a dwarf weed potion (unf). It can also be turned into a divine ranging potion with crystal dust at 74 Herblore, or a ranging mix with caviar at 80 Herblore after Barbarian Herblore Training.

The Ranging potion(4) is tradeable and noteable. It is not stackable and weighs 0.02 kg. Its item ID is 2444.
