Description

Raw manta ray is a fish in Old School RuneScape. You need level 81 Fishing to catch it. You can get raw manta rays from the Fishing Trawler minigame, the Tempoross reward pool, or a bowl of fish. You can also catch them with drift nets at Fossil Island, but that needs 90 Fishing and boosts do not work there.

With level 91 Cooking, you can cook a raw manta ray into a manta ray. Cooking one gives 216.3 Cooking experience. If you wear the Cooking cape, you will never burn them. A cooked manta ray heals 22 hitpoints, which makes it one of the best foods in the game.

Raw manta rays have other uses too. You can offer one to Fossegrimen in Rellekka to enchant a lyre and make an enchanted lyre. Catching a manta ray at the Fishing Trawler and cooking it in Port Khazard is also a task for the Elite Ardougne Diary.

The item is tradeable and noteable. It cannot be equipped and does not stack. It weighs 0.45 kg. Raw manta rays are great for training Cooking or stocking up on strong food.
