Ruby bolt tips are a members-only item in Old School RuneScape. Players attach them to adamant bolts or dragon bolts. This turns the bolts into ruby bolts or ruby dragon bolts. Those bolts can then be enchanted.

Making ruby bolts takes 10 adamant bolts and 10 ruby bolt tips. This needs level 63 Fletching and gives 63 experience. Making ruby dragon bolts takes 10 dragon bolts and 10 ruby bolt tips. This needs level 84 Fletching and also gives 63 experience.

Players can also make the tips themselves. With level 63 Fletching, using a chisel on a ruby makes 12 ruby bolt tips and gives 6.3 experience per gem.

Ruby bolt tips are stackable and tradeable, and they weigh nothing. They cannot be worn. In the game, they drop from monsters like Vorkath, Hydra, Vyrewatch, and Lava Strykewyrms. They can also come from crystal implings and stone chests.

These tips are a smart pick for players who train Fletching or want strong ammo for Ranged. Ruby bolt tips make it easy to craft high-level bolts without hunting for drops.
