The ruby necklace is a jewelry item in Old School RuneScape. It is made by using a gold bar, a ruby, and a necklace mould on a furnace. The main reason players want a ruby necklace is to turn it into a Digsite pendant. First, a player must learn the enchant spell from an archaeologist at the Varrock Museum by cleaning finds until a clean necklace shows up. After that, the necklace can be enchanted with the Lvl-3 Enchant spell. This needs level 49 Magic, 1 cosmic rune, and 5 fire runes, and it gives 59 Magic experience.
The Digsite pendant teleports players to the Digsite. After the Bone Voyage quest, players can use a pendant on the southern machine at the House on the Hill to unlock a teleport to Fossil Island.
