Buy OSRS Rune cannonball
Description
Rune cannonballs are ammunition for boat combat in Old School RuneScape. They are fired from a boat cannon during fights at sea. You need a rune cannon or a stronger one to use them. They are tier 90 ammo with an Accuracy bonus of +64 and a Strength bonus of +201, so they hit hard and hit often.
Making these yourself takes work. You need level 90 Smithing and an ammo mould, and each runite bar only makes four cannonballs. A double ammo mould and the ancient furnace in the Grimstone Dungeon can speed this up, but that needs Foundry Reputation and level 87 Sailing. Buying them saves all that time.
Rune cannonballs are also a crafting material. With level 90 Smithing, two of them plus one chain make two rune chainshot cannonballs. Two of them plus ten rubium splinters make two rune incendiary cannonballs.
Stock up on rune cannonballs if you want strong boat combat ammo without hours of smithing. They keep your cannon firing at full power while you sail and fight.
