Description

Runite limbs are crossbow limbs in Old School RuneScape. They are made from a runite bar and are a key part in making a rune crossbow. Players use them to train Fletching or to build one of the best crossbows for mid-level combat.

Smithing runite limbs takes level 91 Smithing and gives 75 Smithing experience per pair. You can also attach the limbs to a yew stock at level 69 Fletching. This makes a runite crossbow (u) and gives 100 Fletching experience.

Runite limbs have another use too. Smithing them in Witchaven or Yanille is a task in the elite Ardougne Diary. Players working on that diary need these limbs to finish it.

If you do not want to smith them yourself, these limbs also drop from monsters. Steel dragons, iron dragons, and mithril dragons all drop them. The King Black Dragon, Dagannoth Supreme, aviansies, and the deranged archaeologist can drop them as well.

Each pair of runite limbs weighs 3 kg. Buying them saves time on Smithing and lets you jump right into Fletching training or diary tasks.
