Description

Seaweed is a key item in Old School RuneScape for training Crafting. Giant seaweed is used with buckets of sand to make molten glass. Players cast the Superglass Make spell once per inventory to turn seaweed and sand into glass fast.

Giant seaweed gives a lot of value per piece. With 2 giant seaweed and 12 buckets of sand, each seaweed makes about 8.7 molten glass. With 3 giant seaweed and 18 buckets of sand, each seaweed makes about 8.9 molten glass. If the player picks up the extra glass, that number goes up to about 9.6 per seaweed.

The XP is strong too. Each giant seaweed can give from 538 to 732 Crafting XP, based on the setup and the item the player blows the glass into. Using 3 seaweed with 18 sand and picking up the glass gives the best rate, at 588 to 732 XP per seaweed.

Seaweed is a smart buy for players who want fast Crafting levels. It saves time spent gathering and lets players focus on casting Superglass Make and blowing glass for steady XP gains.
