Description
The spider on stick is a members-only food item in Old School RuneScape. It is made on Karamja during the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup minigame. When eaten, it heals between 7 and 10 hitpoints, and the skewer stick goes back to your inventory. It is a handy snack for players training or fighting near Tai Bwo Wannai.
To make one, kill a jungle spider to get a spider carcass. Cut a thatching spar from the undergrowth with a machete, then use the machete on the spar to make skewer sticks. Use a skewer stick on the carcass to get a raw spider on stick. Cooking it needs level 16 Cooking and gives 80 experience. You stop burning it at level 48, or earlier with the Hosidius kitchen range bonus.
Cooking a spider on stick counts as a medium task for the Karamja achievement diary. You do not need to cook it on Karamja for the task. The item is tradeable, noteable, and weighs 0.65 kg. Its examine text reads: "A nicely roasted spider threaded onto a skewer stick."
