Description
Steel limbs are crossbow limbs in Old School RuneScape. They are a members-only item. Players use them to make a steel crossbow, one of the crossbows a Fletcher can build from parts.
Steel limbs come from Smithing. A player with level 36 Smithing can make them from one steel bar at an anvil. Each pair gives 37.5 Smithing experience. They can also be bought from or sold to crossbow shops, like the one in Keldagrim.
The main use for steel limbs is Fletching. At level 46 Fletching, a player can attach the limbs to a teak stock. This makes a steel crossbow (u), which is the unstrung version of the steel crossbow.
Steel limbs are tradeable and noteable, so they are easy to move and sell. They are not stackable and cannot be worn. Each pair weighs 2 kg. The item ID is 9425.
Steel limbs are a good pick for players training Fletching or Smithing. They are also useful for anyone who wants to build a steel crossbow without smithing the parts on their own.
