Buy OSRS Studded chaps

Description

Studded chaps are leg armour in Old School RuneScape. They are part of the studded leather armour set. You need 20 Ranged to wear them. The studs give a bit more protection than plain leather chaps.

These chaps give a +6 Ranged attack bonus. They also give good defence for early levels, with +15 Stab, +16 Slash, +17 Crush, +6 Magic, and +16 Ranged defence. The only downside is a small -5 Magic attack bonus. This makes them a solid pick for low level rangers.

Players with 44 Crafting can make studded chaps by adding steel studs to leather chaps. This gives 42 Crafting experience. You can also buy them from Horvik in Varrock or the armour salesman in the Ranging Guild. They drop from young implings and can show up in easy reward caskets and steel chests.

Studded chaps are also needed for two easy Treasure Trail clues. One clue asks you to spin at Draynor Manor. The other asks you to yawn at the Draynor Village market. Keeping a pair around saves time when these clues appear.
