Description
The Sunfire rune is a superior version of the fire rune in Old School RuneScape. It is a fire rune empowered by the sun. When you cast offensive fire spells with sunfire runes, every successful hit deals at least 10% of your max hit. This makes them a strong pick for fire spell combat.
Sunfire runes work in place of fire runes for non-combat spells too. You can use them for teleports and High Level Alchemy. You can also use 100 sunfire runes on burnt pages to make searing pages. Searing pages can then be used on a tome of fire to give the tome the same effect.
Even if you have an item that gives infinite fire runes, such as the twinflame staff, sunfire runes in your inventory are still used when you cast fire spells. This means the minimum hit effect still applies.
Sunfire runes are stackable and tradeable, and they weigh nothing. They are a smart buy for players who want stronger fire spells or who want to upgrade their tome of fire.
