Description

Swordtip squid is a food item in Old School RuneScape. Eating one restores 15 Hitpoints, which makes it a solid mid-level food for training, quests, and combat. It is a members-only item.

Players make swordtip squid by cooking raw swordtip squid on a fire or a cooking range. This needs level 56 Cooking and gives 150 Cooking experience for each successful cook. There is a chance to burn the squid at lower levels. Burning stops at level 91 on a fire and level 85 on a range. On the Hosidius range, burning stops at level 82 with the 5% bonus or level 80 with the 10% bonus.

The raw version comes from lantern harpooning at sea. Catching one needs level 52 Fishing plus a harpoon and a lantern, and it gives 55 Fishing experience per catch. The fishing spots are found on certain islands, and reaching them takes at least level 47 Sailing.

Swordtip squid is tradeable and noteable. It is not stackable and cannot be equipped. Each one weighs 0.45 kg. Its item ID is 31556, and the raw version has the ID 31553.
