Description

The Teak repair kit is a members only item in Old School RuneScape that repairs your boat. Use its Apply option while you are on a boat to heal 20 health to the ship. Several players can apply kits at the same time to fix the boat fast. You can also tell your crewmates to repair the boat. A crewmate with a high Deckhandiness level may heal more than 20 per kit. During boat combat, applying a kit has the same delay as eating food.

Players can make teak repair kits at a shipwrights' workbench. Each action uses 2 teak planks, 10 steel nails, and 5 swamp paste. It needs level 30 Construction, gives 135 experience, and makes 2 kits at a time. The kits also drop as loot from Barracuda salvage and pygmy krakens.

The Teak repair kit is tradeable and noteable, and it cannot be equipped. It weighs 0.5 kg and has item ID 31970. It can be traded on the Grand Exchange with a buy limit of 13,000 every 4 hours. Keep a stock of these kits so your boat stays afloat in tough fights.
