Description

The Tzhaar-ket-om is a two-handed obsidian maul in Old School RuneScape. It only needs level 60 Strength to wield. No Attack level is required. This makes it a favorite for Obsidian maulers in player killing, since a low Combat level account can still hit hard.

The maul has a +80 slash attack bonus and a +85 strength bonus. It hits with crush attacks using the Pound, Pummel, and Block styles. Its attack speed is slow at 7 ticks, but the damage makes up for it.

The maul works with other obsidian gear. A Berserker necklace gives it a 20% damage boost. Wearing the obsidian helmet, platebody, and platelegs adds 10% to melee attack and strength. These bonuses stack. With the right gear and boosts, the maul can hit up to 63 in standard PvP.

Players can also attach a Tzhaar-ket-om ornament kit from hard Treasure Trails. This adds trim and spikes for looks only, and it can be removed at any time. Two mauls are also used to build an obsidian fence at level 83 Construction in a superior garden.
