Description

The Obsidian helmet is a strong melee helmet in Old School RuneScape. You need level 60 Defence to wear it. It is part of the obsidian armour set, which comes from the TzHaar city.

This helmet shines when you wear the full set. Put it on with the obsidian platebody and obsidian platelegs, and all obsidian weapons get a 10% boost to melee accuracy and melee strength. This bonus also stacks with the berserker necklace, so obsidian weapons can hit even harder.

The helmet has solid defence stats. It gives +25 Stab, +23 Slash, +26 Crush, and +24 Ranged defence. This makes it a good pick for melee training and fights against melee enemies.

In the game, players can buy the helmet from TzHaar-Hur-Zal's Equipment Store for 84,480 Tokkul, or 73,216 Tokkul with Karamja gloves. It can also drop from TzHaar-Ket at a rate of 1 in 2,000, which is very rare. The helmet can be stored in the armour case of a costume room as part of the obsidian armour set.
