Description
The Uncharged trident is a trident of the seas with no charges in it. It is a one-handed powered staff in Old School RuneScape. You need 75 Magic to wield it. Once charged, it casts its own built-in magic spell on any spellbook.
To charge it, add death runes, chaos runes, fire runes, and coins. Each charge takes 1 death rune, 1 chaos rune, 5 fire runes, and 10 coins. A full trident holds 2,500 charges. When charged, it gives +15 Magic attack, hits every 2.4 seconds, and has a range of 7 tiles. Its max hit starts at 20 with 75 Magic and grows by one every three Magic levels.
The trident can be upgraded. Give it and 10 kraken tentacles to Lieve McCracken to make an enhanced trident of the seas, which holds 20,000 charges. With 59 Crafting, you can add a magic fang to make a trident of the swamp, which can venom targets.
This staff is a strong choice for Slayer tasks and general magic combat. It is a members-only item and drops as a task-only reward from cave krakens with 87 Slayer.
