The uncooked botanical pie is a members-only item in Old School RuneScape. It is made by adding a Golovanova fruit top to a pie shell. You need level 52 Cooking to bake it on a range. A successful bake gives 180 Cooking experience and turns it into a botanical pie. A failed bake makes a burnt pie. The burn rate drops as your Cooking level goes up. It stops burning at level 84, or at level 52 if you use the Lumbridge Castle range with Cook's Assistant done. The Bake Pie spell from the lunar spellbook never burns it.
The finished botanical pie is a strong item for Herblore training. It boosts Herblore by 4 levels, which is the highest reliable boost in the game. It also heals 14 Hitpoints across 2 bites, with each bite healing 7. A pie dish is left behind after both bites.
The uncooked botanical pie is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs 0.5 kg. It is a smart pick for players who want quick Cooking experience or who plan to boost Herblore for higher level potions.
