Description
The Pie dish is a basic Cooking item in Old School RuneScape. Players use it to bake pies. Add pastry dough to the dish to make a pie shell. Pastry dough is made by mixing a pot of flour with a jug, bucket, or bowl of water. After the shell is made, add a filling of your choice and bake the pie in an oven.
Players can also make a pie dish with the Crafting skill. Firing an unfired pie dish at a pottery oven gives 10 Crafting XP. At low levels the dish can crack in the oven, but at level 13 Crafting it always works. This makes it a simple item for players training Crafting at low levels.
The pie dish is light at only 0.1 kg. Its examine text reads "Deceptively pie shaped." It spawns in several spots, like the Varrock Palace kitchen, the Cooks' Guild, Caleb's house in Catherby, and the Dwarven Mine near Nurmof. It can also be bought from Frenita's Cooking Shop in Yanille. Any player who wants to make pies for food needs this dish to get started.
