Description

Viggora's chainmace (u) is a one-handed crush weapon in Old School RuneScape. It needs level 60 Attack to wield. Its stats are close to the dragon scimitar, but it hits with crush instead of slash. It has +67 crush attack, +66 strength, and +2 prayer bonus. It swings every 2.4 seconds, the same speed as an abyssal whip.

The real power shows in the Wilderness. Charge the mace with revenant ether and it gains 50% more melee accuracy and damage against any NPC there. Each attack uses 1 ether, hit or miss. This boost stacks with a Slayer helmet or a Salve amulet, but not both at once. That makes it one of the best melee weapons for Wilderness PvM, and it can hit harder than an elder maul.

The mace counts as a Zamorakian item in the God Wars Dungeon. It can hold up to 17,000 ether, and the Uncharge option removes the ether safely. Players with level 85 Smithing can attach the claws of Callisto to make the ursine chainmace. The uncharged mace can also be taken apart for 7,500 revenant ether.
