Description

White berries are sour berries used in potions in Old School RuneScape. They are one of the main ingredients in Herblore for defence potions and super defences.

With level 30 Herblore, you can mix white berries with a Ranarr potion (unf) to make a Defence potion(3) and earn 75 XP. With level 66 Herblore, you can mix them with a Cadantine potion (unf) to make a Super defence(3) and earn 150 XP. You can also mix white berries with redberry juice to make pink dye.

White berries show up in quests too. You need one to make pink dye in The Hand in the Sand. They are also part of the item list in Mourning's End Part II and a possible item in Fairytale I - Growing Pains. Farmers will accept 10 white berries as payment to protect a camphor tree.

Players can grow these berries by planting whiteberry seeds in a bush patch at level 59 Farming, but that takes time. Buying white berries is a fast way to stock up for potion making, quests, and Herblore training without the wait.
