Description
Willow logs are logs cut from willow trees in Old School RuneScape. They are a free-to-play item and have been in the game since 25 March 2002. The logs are tradeable and noteable, and each one weighs 2 kg.
Willow logs are a top pick for training Firemaking. With level 30 Firemaking and a tinderbox, each log burned gives 90 Firemaking experience. It takes no more than 144,679 willow logs to go from level 30 to level 99 Firemaking. Six willow logs can also light an Abyssal lantern at level 30 Firemaking.
The logs are useful for Fletching too. With a knife, players can carve them into arrow shafts at level 30, a willow shortbow (u) at level 35, willow stocks at level 39, a willow longbow (u) at level 40, and willow shields at level 42. A shield needs 2 willow logs.
Willow logs can also be used to travel to Varrock with the Balloon transport system. Buying willow logs saves the time it takes to cut them, so players can skip level 30 Woodcutting work and train their skills right away.
