Description

The arrow shaft is a basic Fletching item in Old School RuneScape. Players use arrow shafts as the first step to make arrows. Add 15 feathers to 15 arrow shafts at Fletching level 1 to get 15 headless arrows and 15 Fletching experience. Then attach arrowtips to the headless arrows to finish your arrows.

Arrow shafts are stackable and tradeable, and they weigh nothing. This makes them easy to keep in your bank or inventory in large amounts. A big stack of arrow shafts saves you time, since you can skip cutting logs with a knife and go straight to making arrows.

Normal logs give 15 shafts, and higher log tiers give more, up to 105 shafts from redwood logs at Fletching level 90. Each cutting action takes 1.2 seconds. Arrow shafts can also be used with a spider carcass at level 16 Cooking to make spider on shaft.
