Description
The willow stock is a Fletching item in Old School RuneScape. It is a crossbow stock cut from willow logs. Players use it as a key part when making an iron crossbow.
To cut a willow stock, use a knife on willow logs. This needs level 39 Fletching and gives 22 Fletching experience. The stock can also be bought from crossbow shops, such as the one in Keldagrim.
Once you have the stock, attach iron limbs to it. This also needs level 39 Fletching and gives 44 Fletching experience. The result is an iron crossbow (u), which means it is unstrung. Add a crossbow string to the unfinished crossbow to make a full iron crossbow.
The willow stock weighs 3 kg. It is a good pick for players who want to train Fletching or craft their own iron crossbow. Buying willow stocks in bulk saves time spent cutting logs, so you can get right to making crossbows and gaining experience.
