Description

The Wizard's mind bomb is an ale in Old School RuneScape. When you drink it, it restores 1 Hitpoint and boosts your Magic level. If your Magic level is under 50, you get a +2 boost. If your Magic level is 50 or higher, you get a +3 boost. The drink also lowers your Attack, Strength, and Defence for a short time, so plan around that.

This ale is needed for the Dragon Slayer I quest. It can also be used in the Below Ice Mountain quest in place of a regular beer. Many players grab one just to check off a quest step. Others use the Magic boost to cast spells that are a little above their current level.

Players can brew this ale at level 34 Cooking for 314 experience per batch. Brewing takes 2 buckets of water, 2 barley malt, 4 yanillian hops, and a pot of ale yeast. A stronger version called the mature wmb also exists. The item is tradeable but not stackable. Its examine text says it has strange bubbles in it, and its taste has been compared to warm tap water with a lot of fizz.
