The Wooden stock is a crossbow part in Old School RuneScape. Players use it to make a bronze crossbow. It is a members item that is tradeable and noteable. It weighs 3 kg. It cannot be equipped and does not stack.

Players can cut a wooden stock from logs with a knife at level 9 Fletching. This gives 6 Fletching experience. At the same level, bronze limbs can be attached to the stock to make a bronze crossbow (u). This gives 12 Fletching experience. Adding a crossbow string to the unfinished crossbow finishes the bronze crossbow.

There are a few ways to get a wooden stock in game. It can be stolen from a crossbow stall at level 49 Thieving. It can also come from a storage crate. Crossbow shops sell it too. These shops are found in the Dwarven Mines, on White Wolf Mountain, and in the Keldagrim Palace.

A wooden stock is a smart pick for players training Fletching or working toward ranged gear. It is the first step in making a crossbow, so it is useful for low level crafting and skill training.
