Description
The worm batta is a members-only gnome food in Old School RuneScape. Players eat it in one bite and heal 12 hitpoints. It is a light item at 0.25 kg, and it can be traded or turned into a note.
Players can make a worm batta with level 27 Cooking for 154 experience. The steps use gianne dough, a batta tin, a king worm, cheese, gnome spice, and equa leaves. Most of these items are sold by Hudo, the Gnome Cook, in the Grand Tree. King worms are found in the swamp north-west of the Grand Tree. Like all gnome foods, battas stop burning at Cooking level 38.
Premade worm battas are sold by gnome waiters in the Grand Tree, but only player-made ones count in the Gnome Restaurant minigame, where this dish is a semi-rare order. Tortoises at combat levels 79 and 92 also drop the worm batta.
Gianne's cook book says battas are traditionally cooked by gnome mothers during the cold winter months. This dish is a fun pick for players who enjoy gnome cooking or want a tasty way to train the Cooking skill.
