Description
The Zenyte amulet is a members-only neck item in Old School RuneScape. It is made from gold and zenyte, one of the rarest gems in the game. Its examine text says a fiery glow comes from the amulet.
Making one takes a lot of skill. A player needs level 98 Crafting to combine a gold bar and a zenyte at a furnace with an amulet mould. This makes an unstrung amulet and gives 200 Crafting experience. Stringing it with a ball of wool or the String Jewellery spell finishes the amulet and gives 4 more experience.
The real value of this amulet is what it can become. With level 93 Magic, a player can cast Lvl-7 Enchant on it to make an amulet of torture. That is one of the best melee amulets in the game. The enchant also gives 110 Magic experience.
On its own, the Zenyte amulet has no combat bonuses. It is tradeable, noteable, and very light at 0.01 kg. Players who want an amulet of torture without training Crafting to 98 can get this amulet and simply enchant it themselves.
