Description

The Abyssal Bane Longsword is a tier 79 main-hand melee weapon in RuneScape 3. It is made from a bane longsword + 4 that has been upgraded with an abyssal whip. You need level 80 Attack to wield it.

This longsword shines against abyssal demons. It boosts your damage by 25% when you fight any type of abyssal demon. You do not need other abyssal bane gear to get this bonus. It works well on regular abyssal demons and abyssal beasts since they are weak to slash attacks. Note that the bonus does not apply to abyssal leeches, abyssal guardians, or abyssal walkers.

The weapon uses the slash style with 967.8 ability damage and 1876 accuracy. It can also be augmented for extra perks.

The longsword degrades over 50,000 charges of combat and can then be repaired. A full repair costs 800,000 coins at base price. You can pay less by using an armour stand or whetstone, with a 0.5% discount per Smithing level.

Pick up the Abyssal Bane Longsword if you plan to slay abyssal demons for Slayer tasks or drops. The 25% damage boost makes those kills much faster.
