The adamant crossbow is a one-handed ranged weapon in RuneScape 3. It is stronger than the mithril crossbow but weaker than the rune crossbow. You need level 40 Ranged to wield it. It fires bolts and has an attack range of 7. Its stats are tier 40, with 384 ability damage and 628 accuracy.

This crossbow is free to play, tradeable, and can be noted. It weighs 2 kg. Players can make one with level 61 Fletching by adding a crossbow string to an unstrung adamant crossbow. This gives 41 Fletching experience.

The adamant crossbow has some extra uses too. After the quest The Chosen Commander, Oldak in Dorgesh-Kaan will trade one for a replacement of Zanik's crossbow. It can also be broken down for parts. Disassembly gives 8 materials, which can include Connector parts, Spiked parts, Tensile parts, Stunning components, and Dextrous components.

This is a solid pick for mid-level Ranged training. It is a clear step up from mithril and works well until you can wield a rune crossbow. It also drops from medium Treasure Trail rewards, but buying one saves you the hunt.
