These gauntlets are tank armour. They give 32.4 armour, which is one point more than the base adamant gauntlets. They also add a 200 life points bonus and a 0.8% damage reduction against monsters. This makes them a solid pick for mid-level players who want more defence in melee fights.

Smiths can make this item at a forge and anvil. The base gauntlets take one adamant bar, and the + 1 upgrade takes one more bar, for two bars in total. The full process gives 340 Smithing experience. Players can upgrade them again to adamant gauntlets + 2 with more bars.

The gauntlets can also be taken apart with Invention. Disassembly gives 9 experience and 4 materials, with a 67% base junk chance. Possible materials include cover parts, deflecting parts, plated parts, strong components, and protective components. The item weighs only 0.005 kg, so it adds almost no weight to your gear setup.
