Description

The Adamant shield (h4) is a heraldic version of the adamant kiteshield in RuneScape 3. It has a special crest painted on the front. The examine text calls it "a shield with a heraldic design." It comes from medium clue scrolls in Treasure Trails. Players cannot make it with the Smithing skill.

This shield has the same stats as a normal adamant kiteshield, so it is a cosmetic item. You need level 40 Defence to wear it. It is a tier 40 melee shield with 125.6 armour and a 4% PvM damage reduction. It goes in the shield slot and works for free-to-play players.

The shield is tradeable, equipable, and noteable. It can also be disassembled for Invention. It gives 12 XP and 8 materials, and it always yields 1 Fortunate component. Common materials are Cover parts, Base parts, and Deflecting parts.

You can combine it with the Adamant helm (h4), Adamant platebody (h4), and Adamant platelegs (h4) or plateskirt (h4) to form a heraldic armour set at the Grand Exchange clerk. It is a good pick for players who want a unique look at level 40.
