Description

The alchemical hydrix is a rare gem in RuneScape 3. It is a hydrix infused with extra energy and materials, which makes it stronger than a normal gem. It is a members-only item and can be traded with other players.

This gem is the base part for two top items. With level 99 Crafting, it can be combined with an amulet of souls and a reaper necklace to make the Essence of Finality amulet. That amulet gives a +56 bonus to all combat styles, a +7 prayer bonus, and can store a weapon special attack. The gem can also be made into an alchemical hydrix brooch, which can be enchanted into the Brooch of the Gods. That brooch stores urns and effigies, boosts skilling, and can spawn a divine blessing that gives Invention materials.

With level 90 Crafting, the gem can be crushed with a chisel into ten alchemical hydrix dust. Each dust recharges an Essence of Finality amulet by 50%.

Making this gem yourself takes level 117 Invention and level 80 Crafting, plus many rare components. Buying one skips that long grind and gets you right to crafting.
