Description
The Alchemical onyx is an enhanced gem in RuneScape 3. It is an onyx infused with special energy and materials, which makes it stronger than a normal gem. Players can make one at level 107 Invention using an onyx, 50 fortunate components, 50 refined components, and 10 precious components at an inventor's workbench.
This gem is the key to some of the best jewellery in the game. At level 91 Crafting, you can smelt it with a gold bar to make an alchemical onyx ring or necklace. When enchanted, the ring becomes the Luck of the Dwarves. It boosts strength, ranged, magic, and necromancy, and gives a tier 4 luck effect. The necklace becomes the Grace of the Elves. It lets Seren spirits spawn while you gather, works like a sign of the porter with up to 500 charges, and lowers the drain rate of some Seren prayers.
The Alchemical onyx is also used to make the Passage of the Abyss and the Ingenuity of the Humans ability codex. That codex unlocks an ability that gives 100% hit chance to your next ability or spell within 6 seconds.
