The Amulet of Magic is a classic amulet in RuneScape 3. It is made by casting the Lvl-1 Enchant spell on a sapphire amulet. Mages love this item because it gives a strong boost to magic damage. In free-to-play, only the arcane blast necklace from Dungeoneering gives a bigger magic bonus. The best part is that the Amulet of Magic has no requirements at all. Any player can wear it right away.
This amulet is free-to-play, tradeable, and equipable. It goes in the neck slot and weighs almost nothing at 0.01 kg. It can also be noted, so it is easy to carry and trade in bulk. Since sapphires are the most common gem, this is one of the cheapest player-made amulets in the game.
A trimmed version of the amulet exists as a reward from easy Treasure Trails. The trim is only a cosmetic change, so both versions give the same bonuses. Players who no longer need the amulet can sell it to Davon in Brimhaven. For any low-level mage or new account, the Amulet of Magic is a simple way to hit harder with spells.
