Description
The sapphire amulet is a piece of jewellery in RuneScape 3. It is made at a furnace with a gold bar, a cut sapphire, and an amulet mould. Making one needs level 24 Crafting and gives 65 experience. The amulet starts out unstrung. It must be strung with a ball of wool or the String Jewellery spell before it can be worn.
The amulet fits in the neck slot and has no combat stat requirements. On its own it gives no damage, accuracy, or armour bonuses. Its real value comes from enchanting. With the Lvl-1 Enchant spell, level 7 Magic, one cosmic rune, and one water rune, it becomes an amulet of magic, which gives a magic bonus.
The sapphire amulet is tradeable and available to free-to-play players. It is also handed to Melena during the Making History quest. Players who train Invention can disassemble it for jewellery materials such as delicate parts, connector parts, smooth parts, precious components, and enhancing components. It is a simple, low-level item that works well for early Crafting training, cheap magic gear, and quest needs.
