Description

The Apex hide armour set + 3 is a set item for RuneScape 3. It holds five pieces of Apex hide armour + 3: a cowl, body, chaps, vambraces, and boots. The set itself is not worn. It can be opened at a Grand Exchange clerk to get the five pieces inside.

Apex hide is tier 85 to tier 90 ranged tank armour. It is a members item. It does not degrade and cannot be augmented. The armour gives strong defence and extra life points. This makes it a good pick for ranged players who want to take less damage in fights.

Making this armour by hand is a big task. It needs level 100 Crafting and apex leather from Big Game Hunter in Havenhythe. Buying the set skips all of that work. The set is tradeable and can be noted. If it is lost on death, it can be reclaimed.

The set can also be turned back into its five parts at a Grand Exchange clerk. This armour came to the game on 23 March 2026 with the Havenhythe continent update. It is not tied to any quest.
