The Apex hide body + 3 is a tier 88 ranged tank armour for the torso slot in RuneScape 3. It is a members item. You need level 99 Ranged to wear it. It never degrades, so you can use it as long as you want with no repair costs.
This body gives strong defence for ranged tanks. It has 538.8 armour and boosts your lifepoints by 1320. It also cuts damage you take by 1.98% against monsters and 5.94% against players. This makes it a solid pick for bosses and other hard fights where staying alive matters most.
The armour comes from apex hides, which drop from Big Game Hunter in Havenhythe. Making one takes level 100 Crafting. It is made by upgrading an Apex hide body + 2 with 20 apex leather. You can upgrade it again to + 4 with 40 more apex leather.
The item is tradeable and can be noted. It can also be disassembled for Cover, Padded, and Tensile parts, plus rare Evasive or Protective components. It is part of the Apex hide set, which also has a cowl, chaps, vambraces, and boots.
