Apex hide boots + 1 are ranged tank armour boots for the feet slot in RuneScape 3. They are members-only gear that does not degrade, so they never need repairs. This pair has been upgraded one time past the base version.
The base boots are tier 85 armour. You need level 85 Armour and level 99 Ranged to wear them. The base version gives 108.9 armour, a 425 life points bonus, and 1.98% damage reduction against monsters. Upgrades raise the armour tier and rating, up to tier 90 and 122.9 armour at + 5.
These boots work well for players who fight tough bosses and want to take less damage. The extra life points and damage reduction help you stay alive longer in hard fights.
Making these boots yourself is a big task. It takes level 100 Crafting, apex leather, and apex sinew. The tailoring process needs work at a pattern table, a drafting table, and a tailor's dummy. Each upgrade tier also doubles the leather cost from the tier before it. Buying the boots skips all of that work.
