Description
The Apex hide vambraces + 1 are a pair of tier 85 ranged tank gloves in RuneScape 3. This pair has been upgraded one level with extra apex leather, so it is stronger than the base version. The vambraces do not degrade, so they never wear out or need repairs. They are a members-only item and require level 99 Ranged to wear.
The base vambraces give 108.9 armour, reduce life point damage by 425, and cut PvM damage by 1.98 percent. They have no accuracy penalty for ranged attacks, which makes them a strong pick for ranged combat. They weigh only 0.453 kg.
Making these gloves yourself takes a lot of work. You need level 100 Crafting, plus apex leather and apex sinew from Big Game Hunter encounters in Havenhythe. The tailoring process uses a pattern table, a drafting table, and a tailor's dummy. Upgrades cost even more apex leather, and each level doubles the cost of the last one.
These vambraces can be upgraded further, all the way to +5. At that point they reach tier 90 with 122.9 armour. Buying the +1 version skips the grind and gets you started right away.
