Description
Argonite ore is a mining resource in RuneScape 3. Players mine it from argonite rocks on the surface of the Daemonheim peninsula. Mining it needs level 100 Mining, and a primal pickaxe or better is needed to mine it well. The Argonite and Katagon Mine has five argonite rocks.
The main use for argonite ore is smelting primal bars. It is one of ten ores needed for this. One argonite ore combines with one of each other ore, from novite to promethium, to make five primal bars at a furnace. This needs level 100 Smithing and gives 31 Smithing experience per bar, or 43 with Superheat Item.
Argonite ore is tradeable and noteable. Players can store 100 to 150 of it in a primal ore box, based on their Mining level and achievements. The metal bank holds an unlimited amount. The ore can also be disassembled for Simple parts.
Buying argonite ore saves time for players who want to train Smithing or craft primal gear. It skips the slow mining grind and gets straight to making bars. The ore was added to the game on 12 August 2024.
