Description
Asgarnian hops are a farming and brewing item in RuneScape 3. Their main use is brewing Asgarnian ale. Each batch of ale needs four hops, along with buckets of water, barley malt, ale yeast, and beer glasses or a calquat keg. The ale can be made in standard, mature, or kegged form.
Players can grow these hops from Asgarnian seeds at level 8 Farming. Four seeds go into a hops patch, and harvesting gives 12 Farming experience for each hop picked. A farmer will watch over the growing crop in exchange for one sack of onions. The hops have a use as payment too. A farmer will protect a crop of reeds for 15 Asgarnian hops.
Asgarnian hops can also be turned into compost, flowery mush, or variety mush. Invention players can disassemble them for organic parts, crafted parts, and rarely living, healthy, or enhancing components.
The item is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to move in bulk. Buying Asgarnian hops directly saves time spent planting and waiting on crops. This makes them a handy pickup for players training Cooking through brewing or gathering Invention materials.
