Description
Ashes are a common item in RuneScape 3. They appear when a fire burns out. You can also get them by picking a white lily, from fire spirits during bonfire training, or by killing Hell-Rats, mummies in Ullek, and enemies in the Abyss. Ashes are tradeable and noteable, and they weigh very little at 0.056 kg.
Ashes have many uses for members. They are needed in the quests Shades of Mort'ton and Desert Treasure. They are used to make Serum 207, which makes them helpful for Herblore training. They also mix with a Fruit Blast to make a dirty blast for Recipe for Disaster. Players can feed ashes to the phoenix eggling and the abyssal minion, or place them on the ground to use the phoenix familiar's Rise From the Ashes special move. Ashes are also used to make ghostly inks.
Free-to-play players can use ashes too. Crush them with a pestle and mortar to make ground ashes, which give 1 Herblore experience. Ground ashes dust your hands for better grip when throwing a shotput in the Warriors' Guild.
