Description

Axeman's folly is an ale in RuneScape 3. When you drink it, it gives a small boost to your Woodcutting level. It raises Woodcutting by 1 plus 1% of your level, so you gain 1 or 2 levels. It also heals 490 life points. Like most ales, it lowers your Attack and Strength skills a little for a short time.

This ale is great when you are just one level short of a Woodcutting goal. Many players drink it to reach the level needed for an Evil Tree. You can also use it to cut a few logs from a tree that is just above your level. At higher levels, it can help you find an ancient effigy. Note that it cannot be used at level 79 Woodcutting to enter the Sawmill training area.

Players make this ale by brewing, which needs level 49 Cooking. The recipe uses oak roots as the special ingredient, along with buckets of water, barley malt, and ale yeast. This item is members only. It is also tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to store and carry.
