Description

Axeman's folly (m) is a mature ale in RuneScape 3. It is the stronger version of the standard Axeman's folly. When you drink it, your Woodcutting level goes up by 2 plus 1 percent, so you gain 2 to 3 levels. It also heals 520 life points. As a trade-off, it lowers your Attack and Strength by 3 plus 2 percent, which is 3 to 4 levels.

This boost helps when you are just short of a Woodcutting level you need. Players use it for quests with Woodcutting requirements they do not meet yet. It also works for Evil Tree hunting and for reaching trees that can give an ancient effigy at higher levels.

The ale is made by brewing with the Cooking skill at level 49. It uses oak roots as a special ingredient, and a batch only turns mature by chance. That makes the mature version harder to get than the normal one. It is a Members-only item, it is tradeable, and it weighs 0.55 kg. Keep a few on hand so a missing level does not stop your training or your quest.
